Proclamations

Proclamations are a great way to have local government recognize the work of Transition Initiatives and the importance of addressing peak oil and climate change at the community level.

In the spring of 2009 Sonnenschein Green Initiative, the 25th official Transition Initiative in the US, created a Transition Proclamation signed by the County and City Government and the local Chamber (read more).
