Giving a Transition Talk is one of the single most powerful actions we can undertake. Raising awareness is central to the Transition model and Transition US is committed to making this as easy as possible. The following presentations cover peak oil, climate change and the mechanics of Transition, along with the subtler subject of the inner transition we all need to go through if we're going to re-establish a harmonious relationship with the planet. Proclamations are a great way to have local government recognize the work of Transition Initiatives and the importance of addressing peak oil and climate change at the community level.
In the spring of 2009 Sonnenschein Green Initiative, the 25th official Transition Initiative in the US, created a Transition Proclamation signed by the County and City Government and the local Chamber (read more).
