Applications Are Now Open for Our Community Resilience Stimulus Fund

On April 9th, Transition US launched our Community Resilience Stimulus Fund to support local Transition Initiative, regional hub, national working group, and Collaborative Design Council leaders in need to continue their essential work during the COVID-19 crisis. For more information and to donate, please visit

If you are currently in need, are an active member of a local, regional, or national Transition group, and have an inspiring project to propose, please read our Overview and Details document in its entirety, then fill out our application form as thoroughly as you can here

Proposals for up to $1,200 will be accepted through May 21st and will be reviewed as they are received by a small committee of Transition US staff and Collaborative Design Council members. If you're not sure what to do right now, this recording of our recent National Network Call on Community Resilience & COVID-19 may provide some useful ideas.

As of April 29th, we only have about $4,400 to distribute, but we will continue raising funds through at least the end of May. We regret that we will not be able to fund every proposal that is submitted but we are proud to support our national network with the limited resources we have available during this very challenging time.

Please share this invitation with active Transition leaders in your network who would benefit from this opportunity. And if you're in a position to do so, please contribute to the fund to help us deepen important resilience-building work during these challenging times.
