Transition & Prosocial Webinar
November 10, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm PST
Free
Imagine a set of tools that help us hear, understand, and honor each other, enhancing collaboration and trust, while helping us all reach our goals more effectively and efficiently.
This webinar & the subsequent Learning Groups provide an introduction to the Prosocial processes including practical tools that we can use within our groups to enhance openness to collaboration, willingness to take the perspective of others, and commitment to shared action and relations with other groups.
Elinor Ostrom studied diverse communities – throughout history and around the world – who successfully managed resources held in common. She discovered that groups work most effectively when they enact the same 8 Core Design Principles. Her work so transformed our understanding of human community evolution, that she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2009.
Presented by Shaktari Belew, one of the original TUS trainers, and Galen Meyers, both members of the TUS Collaborative Design Council; it will include information on additional resources and further training for those who wish to improve their Prosocial skills. This workshop is suitable for anyone working with groups focused on well-being, & resilient, regenerative systems.
This introductory 1-hour webinar to Prosocial processes and tools will be further explored in a series of free online Learning Groups offered in November and December.
Here are two people you may recognize, who are excited to engage in Prosocial processes within their networks!
