Recent topics include: electric vehicles, mutual aid and savings pools, housing and homelessness, and economic alternatives. Upcoming: sustainable transportation systems, linking our local economy to international development initiatives, a Savings Pool Game, and sustainable resource management (zero waste possibilities).
Summary of Accomplishments: Lasting for 10 years. Many contacts and connections within a community full of organizations working at addressing Transition-like concerns. Sponsoring an active TimeBank in the community. Providing a means for people new to Asheville to connect with us or with other related organizations.
