Ways to Support Transition US

There are many ways you can donate to Transition US to support an ecosystem of communities across the country that are building a regenerative and just future!  The list below provides creative options to financially support the movement in a way that works for you.  If you have questions about any of the options below, or would like assistance making a donation, please contact info@transitionus.org. Make a one-time donation

General Donations

One Time Donations – You can make a one-time donation using a credit card or Paypal by clicking here.
Monthly Recurring Donations – You can donate on a monthly basis by visiting our donation page, and checking the “recurring donation box” right above your email.  By doing this you’ll be a part of our Movement ReGenerators Circle, a visionary network of changemakers who believe in the work of building a regenerative and just future.  You can learn more about the group by visiting the Movement ReGenerators Circle page. 
Matching Donations – Many employers match their employees’ donations. To find out if your employer offers a match, you can reach out directly to your company’s HR department or try using Charity Navigator’s Employer Match Tool.

Donating Assets

Transferring Stock – if you transfer stock that you’ve held for more than a year, capital gains tax will be waived.  You can learn more and view instructions to donate stock to Transition US, by clicking here.
Deductions from an IRA – People who are 70.5 years of age or older can donate from their IRA without being taxed for their distribution. You can learn more about these benefits by clicking here.

Skills & Services – This depends on our current needs.  Some skills are likely to be needed throughout the year, and include graphic design and social media support.
